Benson’s, Inc. Shows Support for Non Profit Organization, Associa Cares
Benson’s, Inc. Hosts Vendor Event to Benefit Associa Cares, a Charity that Helps Families in Times of Crisis
Ft. Myers, FL December 1, 2009 - Benson’s, Inc., an Associa Company, recently held a vendor event to benefit non-profit organization, Associa Cares. Vendors met with community managers to share company information and identify areas Benson’s association clients could benefit.
The vendor event was held on November 13, 2009 and was attended by over 12 community association vendors from landscapers, electricians and Hurricane Shutter/Security companies. Vendors made donations to Associa Cares and received dedicated time to speak to each community manager. Together with the vendors, Benson’s helped raise $2,650 for Associa Cares.
“I want to thank our wonderful vendor partners for supporting Associa Cares while providing great information to the community managers of the Naples and Fort Myers offices,” said Bonita Vandall, President of Benson’s, Inc. “Together we not only strengthened our abilities to help our community associations, we provided the means to help needing families too.”
Associa Cares is a national non-profit organization with a mission to lend support and assistance to families devastated from natural and man made disasters. Donations provided by individuals and events such as this allows Associa Cares to provide necessary goods and services to families and communities in crisis.
Associa Cares reaches out to families and communities throughout the United States by providing gift cards, blankets, water or monetary funds to help families cope in some of the worst times families will ever have. Recently Associa Cares was able to provide monetary assistance to several families in the Southern Region burdened with unforeseen flooding and fire disasters that left them without shelter, clothing or other basic necessities.
